Scottsdale Chinese Immersion Summer Camp July 2013 -- Scottsdale Airpark

Location:Thunderbird Christian Elementary 7410 E. Sutton Drive, Scottsdale, Arizona 85260 This is our 6th year to run the Chinese Immersion Summer Camp. Our 4th year at this beautiful north Scottsdale private school campus. Our camp just finished last week. There is plenty fun for kids, and they have learned a lot Chinese: numbers, families, Chinese festivals, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese yo-yo, handkerchief, paper-cut, you name it. Of course, there is the ever popular Chinese dumplings and water days. Performance is always the camp finale.

Scottsdale Chinese Immersion Summer Camp 2012 -- Scottsdale Airpark

2012 Scottsdale Chinese Summer Camp. Session 1 performance. 2012 Scottsdale Chinese Summer Camp. Younger Level Classrom 2012 Scottdale Chinese Summer Camp, Chinese Art Class 2012 Scottsdale Chinese Summer Camp. Upper Level Classroom

This is our 5th year to run the Chinese Immersion Summer Camp. Our 3rd year at this beautiful north Scottsdale private school campus. This year, our camp has 2000+ square feet space, plenty for kids to have fun! Here are some facility photos and week one photos. We'll keep update this page, so welcome to come back and visit us again! Description: 1. For children age groups 3-5 & 6-12. 2. Learning and activities: Chinese language, Chinese crafts, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese Movies, Chinese Yo-yo, Tai-ji Fan Dance, Games, Chinese food. 3. Children can sign up for 1-8 weeks, with both full day and half day schedules available. 4. At the end of each 4-week session, children will have a performance for parents. Session Dates &Themes: Session I (4 weeks): June 4 – June 29 -- Chinese Traditional Festivals/Family – Chinese New Year, Lantern Festival, and Moon Festival; Family Names and Relationships, Rules of Etiquette; Chinese Family Culture. Session II (4 weeks): July 2 – July 27-- Chinese Geography/ Chinese Food – Famous Places in China (The Great Wall, Forbidden City, Terracotta Army, etc.); Chinese Food. Hours & Tuition Full Day: 8:30am – 3:00 pm ($228 per week; ) (Open on 4th of July.) Half Day: 8:30am- 12:00 pm ($198 per week) (Open on 4th of July.) Extended Hours Moring: 7:30- 8:30am $8 per hour, or $150 per session (4 weeks) Afternoon: 3:00 – 5:30pm $8 per hour or $300 per session (4 weeks) Siblings receive a 10% tuition discount for the same registered weeks! Materials are included; Friday Lunch/Snacks are included. Thursdays: Water Day - Water Pool. Fridays: Dumpling Day - Cook and enjoy Chinese dumplings. Lunch & Snack: Students bring their own lunch, snack and drink Monday through Thursday. The costumes for the end session performance are free. Registration deadlines: Session II, Monday June 4, 2012.
